Launch of JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort and Spa Heralds New Luxury Experiences on the Vietnamese Island
The flagship of JW Marriott Hotels and Resorts in Vietnam, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort and Spa opens its doors to public this month, making it the first international luxury hotel brand on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.
The resort features 243 rooms, suites, apartments and villas. The design narrative is based on a mythical academy of learning in the early 20th century, with each building on the premises modelled after an academic department. At a 54 square-meter minimum, Architect Bill Bensley focuses on modern residential comforts of home and space.
There are three restaurants and contemporary bars available at the resort. Tempus Fugit (meaning “Time Flies” in English) serves dishes from three different countries, while other options include Red Rum, the beachside seafood grill, Pink Pearl, a Cantonese restaurant in a mansion. Guests can head to the Department of Chemistry Bar for alcoholic mixes.
The Grand Ballroom and spacious breakout rooms are available for bookings with personal event professionals ready for hire. Business travelling needs are also fulfilled with the 1,100 square-meter meeting space suited for conferences or company meetings.
Outdoor accommodations include private beaches, pools; a spa lounge and many other entertainment and recreation facilities. A full range of cultural events and daily rituals are scheduled around the resort for guests, where local crafts from selected artisanal boutiques are sold as souvenir merchandise.
