The #HMPUERTORICO milestone by H&M marks the expansion of the brand’s reach into the aforementioned Caribbean-based market.

H&M has unveiled the debut date for its first store in Puerto Rico. Situated at The Mall of San Juan, the opening takes place in summer on 9 June 2016. The notable #HMPUERTORICO milestone marks the expansion of the brand’s reach into the Caribbean market.

The outlet offers a shopping destination for clothing with lines for men, women, and youngsters. The spot also features ‘store within a store’ sections for accessories, lingerie, and beauty, and carries H&M’s children’s collection for newborn babies and kids up to eight years old.

In line with the launch of the new location estimated to be 31,000 square feet, the first 1,000 customers stand to receive scratch-offs from $10 to $1000 and unique giveaways. Shoppers are encouraged to visit the website and follow the conversation using the hashtag #HMPUERTORICO.

“We are thrilled to be opening in Puerto Rico and bringing our fashion to both the local community as well as visitors of this beautiful island. We are also pleased to provide employment opportunities to the locals through our furthered expansion there,” said Daniel Kulle, President of H&M North America.
