Global fashion marque, Gap, has partnered with singer-songwriter, Leon Bridges, to spread holiday cheer with a fun brand campaign.
Apparel giant, Gap, has come up with a holiday-themed campaign titled Meet Me in the Gap, which stars R&B artiste and songwriter, Leon Bridges. The branding push aims to spread love and drive positive change to reflect that feeling and doing good go together.
The video shows him moving to the rhythm in a blank space brought to life via over-sized stripes which merge to form a path that leads him and the entire cast on a journey of good and generosity. Pairing denim with vibrant knits, the exercise was directed by Emil Nava.
Using an upbeat rendition of the original version of Now That We Found Love by Heavy D & The Boy, Bridges creates feel-good moments with choreographed moves involving the cast. The push debuts on 1 November and spans television, mobile, social, digital, and in-store.
The Gap television commercials will air on major networks and be incorporated into high-impact moments to include digital takeovers on Vevo, Hulu, and Spotify. The company is prioritising live viewing through the NFL—leveraging the season’s top-rated programmes.
“The holidays are about coming together with loved ones. Leon’s soulful voice and rhythm, styled in our signature crazy stripes, created an undeniable energy brought to life in this moment of positivity and cheer—bound to spread love,” said Craig Brommers, CMO of Gap.
