The Stronach Group Releases Short Film Series for Pegasus World Cup Featuring UFC Champion Conor McGregor & Comedian Jon Lovitz
UFC Champion Conor McGregor and Actor/Comedian Jon Lovitz become the main stars short film series released by The Stronach Group for the US$12 Million Pegasus World Cup Invitational, a global thoroughbred horse race tournament.
The duo is back with the release of the 2nd episode of the Pegasus World Cup Invitational’s series of short comedic films. Episode 2 entitled “Training Day”, features McGregor as ‘13th Jockey’ being pushed by Lovitz, the ‘Trainer’ to adopt a new and unusual training regimen as he prepares to become a jockey. Episode 3 and 4 will be aired on 18 and 28 January respectively.
The inaugural Pegasus World Cup Invitational will be held at The Stronach Group’s Gulfstream Park in South Florida on 28 January and will surpass the Dubai World Cup as the world’s richest thoroughbred horse race. The Pegasus World Cup Invitational is restricted to 12 horses that will compete for a record-setting US$12 million purse. Tickets for the race are available online at Pegasus’ website.
