The Christian Louboutin alliance with SportyHenri entails four limited-edition styles based on the designer’s collectible sneaker silhouettes.

Christian Louboutin has launched an exclusive capsule collection with sport and style e-concept store for men, SportyHenri. The first of its kind, the alliance entails four limited-edition styles based on the designer’s collectible sneaker silhouettes, while inspired by the ‘Mettre Le Sport En Valeur’ motto.

Said Sporty Henri credo has sparked designs which include a classic high top SH Bip Bip Flat and low rise SH Louis Junior. The brand’s white, cobalt blue, and black colour palette and its logo have been incorporated into the line to capture its founder and former handball player, Henri Tai’s creative profile.

Launched in April, the online retail site is designed around a unique proposition between shopping and editorial for the sartorially inclined athlete. An extension of the overall brand experience, the digital channel also serves as a platform which provides advice above and beyond routine styling and fit guidance.

It also affords consumers a mix of premium international product and niche labels. Meanwhile, the other two releases from the new collection, SH One Flat and SH Blue Flat, feature regular spike Maison detailing, with the four creations finished with a signature Christian Louboutin red sol in relaxed rubber.

The tie-up is a second project and follows a recent collaboration to support the Cuban National delegation as Official Supplier of the Celebratory Outfit in the recent Rio Games. Rising to the occasion, the partners created a uniform befitting of the celebratory moments of their Olympic journey together.

The limited-edition trainers will be available for purchase from 14 September exclusively via the e-store and at select Christian Louboutin flagship boutiques including New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Seoul, Dubai, Tokyo, and Beijing.
