Cachet Appoints Key Hospitality Leaders to Oversee Southeast Asia in the CHG Bangkok Office
Cachet Hospitality Group (CHG) recently debut its affordable lifestyle brand, SAVANT Hotel, in Bangkok, Thailand. Owned by Vela Hotels Co. Ltd., an owner and developer of mixed use real estate projects in Thailand, SAVANT Vela Hotel – Bangkok will open in November 2017 and marks CHG’s second property in Bangkok and first SAVANT hotel in Southeast Asia.

Reflecting the brand pillars, SAVANT Vela Hotel – Bangkok is designed for travellers who are looking for uncomplicated, distinct and intuitive experiences. SAVANT Vela Hotel – Bangkok adds another prestigious destination to CHG’s expanding portfolio of hotels and resorts throughout the Asia-Pacific and the Americas. To underscore its commitment to the Southeast Asia, the company has appointed new leadership to oversee growth in the region.
Kimy Chen has been promoted to President of Southeast Asia, managing business development for the entire region. She was previously responsible for Cachet’s development in Greater China, overseeing its projects in Hangzhou, Wuhan and Kunming among others. In her new position, Kimy will oversee the current projects in Bangkok and a robust pipeline of at least ten hotels and resorts in advanced stages of negotiations located in Phuket, Koh Samui, Singapore and other markets in Southeast Asia.
Pauline Choo has been promoted to lead CHG’s Cachet Global Interior Design Division, based in Bangkok. Prior to joining CHG, Pauline worked for multiple world-renowned firms including Wilson Associates, Hirsch Bedner Associates, and LTW Design Works, where she coordinated projects for luxury brands including Mandarin Oriental, St. Regis, and Four Seasons.
Jitsak Lim-Pakornkul joins CHG Southeast Asia as Director of Brand Marketing, bringing over 17 years of hospitality industry experience. Prior to CHG, Jitsak worked in brand marketing at Starwood Hotels & Resorts where he opened W Retreat Koh Samui and other properties across Thailand and Southeast Asia. Jitsak also served as General Manager for several hotels including Villa Zolitude Resort & Spa, Hotel IKON Phuket and Sireeampan Resort and Spa Chiang Mai.
Rounding out the team is Sorachai Rojanasuwan who joins as Director of Business Development, Southeast Asia. Sorachai brings over 10 years of hospitality real estate development experience. Prior to CHG, he worked at several Southeast Asian real estate developer companies including The Erawan Group. Amongst his notable development achievements include the Six Senses Spa Destination on Naka Island at Phuket, Ibis Hotel Phuket & Koh Samui and Renaissance Resort & Spa at Koh Samui.
