The Broadview Hotel in Toronto has seen a complete makeover, with new life breathed into the Canadian property’s 126-year-old façade.
The Broadview Hotel, a tie-up between Streetcar Developments and Dream Unlimited, launches on 27 July to reveal its reimagined 126-year-old façade. The property will see three new outlets, The Civic, Café + Bar, and Rooftop unveiled, alongside over 4,000 square feet of event space.
Toronto-based, the location offers 158 rooms and a storied history, while its revival celebrates local east-end culture with a hint of old-world grace. Designed for cosy stays, king-sized beds, luxury linens, garden-like terraces, and an evening turndown service all lend to the establishment’s decadence.
Guests will have access to amenities like a minibar equipped with items sourced by Good Neighbour. Meanwhile, an in-room vinyl record player exists, complete with a formidable album selection to set the mood. Made available by Tiny Record Shop, the genres of music range from jazz to hip hop.
“Our vision is to create a destination that honours the building’s history and transforms it into a landmark hub that reflects east-end culture. The space has been a cornerstone in the community. We are excited to welcome people back inside,” said Les Mallins, President of Streetcar Developments.
Another partnership with luxury plant-powered skincare brand, Graydon Skincare, will allow The Broadview Hotel patrons to pamper themselves from head to toe throughout their stay. Additionally, all guestrooms feature artwork curated through a tie-up with Tatar Art Projects and Project Gallery.
