Women in PR will run an entrepreneurial programme called Becoming Memorable. Set to begin in January, registration ends this December.

The Organization of Canadian Women in Public Relations has announced Becoming Memorable, an upcoming six-month online public relations training programme. Being led by the association’s North America president and Pink Pearl PR MD, Talia Beckett-Davis, it commences on 15 January 2019.

The platform aims to help female entrepreneurs develop a well-planned brand strategy and launch a new product or service into the market using public relations tactics. The programme will be offered digitally, allowing participation from anywhere in the world.

The goal is to equip enrollees with the resources needed to manage their own strategy. Each will learn how to create brand value and develop an asset that will reap rewards for years to come. Featuring elements essential to making a big splash, its format of delivery will be via a private programs-psite.

Participants will be extended the tools to establish brand memorability. These include brand messaging templates, brand story exercises, media kit samples, key dates for programme planning, interview checklists, pitch templates, and interview examples, alongside PR coverage and social media tools.

“With Becoming Memorable, you will learn how to establish yourself as a credible expert and build a community of raving fans. You will learn how to connect with the media, build relationships, and get your brand featured in high-profile publications,” said Beckett-Davis.

Registration closes on 15 December 2018. Visit Women in PR here.
