Renowned Italian conductor Beatrice Venezi was named brand ambassador for luxury kitchen maker Valcucine during Milan Design Week
Maestro Venezi stars in a new advertising campaign for Valcucine entitled “Master of Class, Master of Glass”, which celebrates 30 years of glass in the kitchen as well as Valcucine’s commitment to technology, master craftsmanship and eco-sustainability. In 1987, Valcucine first introduced the use of glass in kitchens, recognising its functionality and aesthetics.
“I’m proud to be associated with one of the finest kitchen makers in the world, a company synonymous with innovation, which has revolutionised kitchen space,” Maestro Venezi said.
Founded in 1980, Valcucine originates from the old tradition of craftsmanship in “Kitchen Valley” in north-eastern Italy, focusing on innovative and timeless kitchens that are made to last. The company has earned a reputation for its dedication to improving ergonomics and the use of space.
In 2015, Valcucine was acquired by ItalianCreationGroup, the fast-growing Italian luxury firm, which has become the go-to group for high-end Italian design, specifically targeting those consumers who appreciate the distinctive personality and artisanal know-how associated with the “Made in Italy” style.
Following the acquisition of prestigious brands such as furniture design firms Driade and FontanaArte, the upscale boutique bathroom company Toscoquattro as well as Valcucine, ItalianCreationGroup is considered a new force in Italian luxury.
Stefano Core, the Co-Founder and CEO of ItalianCreationGroup noted how Maestro Venezi and Valcucine are both synonymous with strong dedication. “Beatrice and Valcucine’s first glass kitchen are nearly the same age and have gone through similar paths: the study, research, experimentation, challenges and innovation,” Core said. “This explains the campaign of ‘Master of Class, Master of Glass.'”
27-years-old Maestro Venezi is the chief conductor of the Orchestra Scarlatti Young in Napoli and was recently named among the “100 Women of 2016” by the influential Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
At the event in Milan, Tony Chambers, the Editor-in-Chief of Wallpaper magazine who is celebrated in the design community, introduced Maestro Venezi to the 500 guests from around the world.
Maestro Venezi conducted the Mitja String Quartet playing sessions from Italian composer Ottorino Respighi, which were inspired by the beauty of nature. It is the official motif of the short movie “Master of Class, Master of Glass“.
Exhibited in the showroom was the glass kitchen prototype Artematica In-Vitrum, which defies the laws of statics, supporting over 200 kg of stone.
