The latest ad campaign includes three new television spots featuring the actress, who is also spokesperson for the brand
Weight management juggernaut, Atkins Nutritionals, has unveiled a latest advertising push which is set on helping consumers find their ‘happy weight’. Actress and spokesperson, Alyssa Milano has taken centre stage as the official face and voice of the said marketing campaign.
Featured in three television spots, the mother-of-two shares her success in relation to reaching the desired spot on the scale through dietary support from the brand. In the commercials, the celebrity shifts the conversation by turning the spotlight on a sustainable low-carb lifestyle.
Created by Campbell Ewald, the national campaign is an integrated mix of advertising, marketing, public relations, and social media, and includes a series of 30-second creatives. In addition, further brand engagement has been activated via the company’s website and a mobile app.
Across the first ad titled Happy, she showcases a variety of frozen meals and recipes. Milano also reveals how Atkins works for her and why its low-carb regime is seamless. In the second, dubbed Changed, she clears up some common misconceptions and discusses upgrades made to the programme.
The final spot, Overjoyed, as its name suggests, has the brand ambassador introducing three satisfied clients who have seen positive results from having subscribed to the Atkins diet. Focusing on vegetable and fruit intake, each explains the benefits of good carbohydrate and healthy fibre consumption.
“Atkins offers a variety of programs to help people achieve their goals. Alyssa helps us reinforce this message by revealing her own success with Atkins to reach her personal happy weight, the place where she looks and feels her best,” said Joseph Scalzo, President and CEO at Atkins Nutritionals.
