Luxury hotel brand, InterContinental, partners with Alexander Hall, over an art installation featuring 200 hand-painted champagne bottles.

InterContinental has partnered with London-based contemporary artist, Alexander Hall, for an art installation commemorating its 200 hotels and resorts worldwide. Known under the alias of Haut de Gamme, he hand-painted 200 champagne bottles in a lively drip-style.

Capturing uniqueness with each design, the artwork is inspired by the marque’s global destinations, including the upcoming InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland. The pieces were suspended together in a stunning oeuvre to represent all of the group’s locations.

“Great luxury hospitality is part science, part experience, and part flair. We look forward to our brand continuing to be a pioneer for luxury travel for many more years to come,” said Tom Rowntree, Vice President of Global Luxury Brands, EMEAA of InterContinental Hotels.

The installation will be displayed over the next few months at select properties across the globe. In addition, the artist will be creating a bespoke Haut de Gamme painting using limited-edition prints.
