Hyatt Regency is continuing the expansion of its brand footprint in the Middle East with the opening of its first resort property in Jordan.

Hyatt Regency has opened Aqaba Ayla Resort, the first property under its portfolio in Jordan, marking an important milestone for the marque’s footprint in the Middle East. Set along the northern shores, it is situated in Marina Village, between the vibrant city centre and international borders.

Connecting patrons to key travel essentials and trappings, the all-encompassing setting of said establishment renders the spot the go-to destination for both business and leisure, an ideal escape for every occasion, whether work or play. The new location has a total of 286 guestrooms and suites.

Making available personalised hospitality with versatile accommodations, the getaway promises 37 regency and four executive suites, along with a prince as well as royal suite. Keeping with the distinctive Hyatt Regency signature, each presents traditional motifs, celebrating local art and culture.

Extending a unique offering to enhance the guest experience, the place delivers picturesque views of the azure lagoons, towering mountains, and tranquil marina silhouettes. Combining dining, entertainment, and retail therapy, its in-house perks include premium venues and an 18-hole golf course.

“We look forward to welcoming travellers to our modern spaces. With the panoramic natural sceneries and dynamic waterfront activities our establishment offers, guests have the luxury to relax and recharge,” said Mohammad Labban, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort.

Home to five gastronomy-rich outlets, the respective menus range from Mediterranean delicacies to Italian cuisine to French bistro surprises to Bohemian-inspired beach club cocktails, alongside other such authentic influences as local, Moroccan, Greek, Lebanese, and Spanish on a fancy plate.

The Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort also affords nearly 10,000 square feet of event spaces spanning a pillarless ballroom for grand gatherings, an outdoor terrace for intimate festivities, technology-fitted meeting rooms for professional sessions, and additional amenities for smooth and hassle-free encounters.

For health and wellness, a 24-hour gymnasium and aqua spa cater to the fitness needs and relaxation goals of visitors. Patrons can go from sweating it out on treadmills and ellipticals to a Turkish hammam or yoga garden for true serenity. An outdoor family and adults-only infinity pool seal the deal.
