Gillette Venus has released its ComfortGlide razor for women, which features three scents namely Freesia, White Tea, and Vanilla Crème.
Gillette Venus has launched ComfortGlide, a solution for women who experience shaving discomfort. Based on a global survey conducted by the personal care giant and set for a spring release, the product features moisture bars for flexibility and comfort without sacrificing closeness.
The study found that most women feel much more confident getting a massage, going out with friends, and giving a client presentation after a smooth shave. Customised to meet specific needs and complete the shower experience, the new razor was carefully designed with said insight in mind.
Wetting the razor activates the moisture bars that release a light lather with each stroke, allowing the razor to glide seamlessly over the body. Constant contact with the skin surface helps provide lubrication before and after the blades touch the skin for smooth manoeuvring with each stroke.
The collection offers both three- and five-blade razors, which combine the brand’s expertise in hair removal with the advanced skincare experience of Olay. The new release is available via online retailers and mass merchandise stores and comes in three scents: Freesia, White Tea, and Vanilla Crème.
“In speaking with women around the globe over the years, we found that most experience a trade-off with their current razor, which prevents the seamless shave and smooth results desired to feel comfortable in their own skin,” said Patrice James, Products Researcher for Gillette Venus.
Gillette was a global winner at the 2014-2015 World Branding Awards in the Men’s Grooming – Shavers category.
