Choice Hotels has signed a deal to launch a new Cambria property in 2019, which will be located in the Californian city of Calabasas.
Choice Hotels International has signed an agreement with Rondell Oasis, which is managed by the Malibu-based Weintraub Real Estate Group, to develop a new Cambria hotel in California. The three-storey property with 121 guestrooms will be situated at 26300 Rondell Road in Calabasas.
Expected to open in 2019, the location is adjacent to the Santa Monica mountain range, with trails for hiking and mountain biking while a short drive to some of California’s best beaches. The venue will entail meeting spaces, a fitness centre, an outdoor pool, and open-air hillside patio for dining.
Additionally, the getaway will include a barista bar and contemporary dining, with a menu offering local specialties, liquor, wine, homegrown craft beers as well as grab-and-go salads and sandwiches. Cambria provides services and amenities travellers demand like free Wi-Fi and spa-like bathrooms.
“Cambria continues to expand on the west coast. In addition to opening our first property in California at LAX, there are major growth plans for Los Angeles including LA Live, LA Spring Street, Anaheim and Glendale,” said Mark Shalala, VP, Development, Upscale Brands at Choice Hotels.
