The newly premiered ‘Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi’ location marks the first property under the Andaz brand operated by Hyatt in the region.

Hyatt has announced the opening of Andaz Capital Gate, turning the ‘Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi’ into the first Andaz-branded hotel in the Middle East. The marque is set on igniting experiences and immersion by delivering a ‘local’ vibe through its surroundings.

The location occupies floors 18 to 33 within said building and is the world’s furthest leaning hotel at an 18-degree incline. Dedicated to introducing global visitors to local culture, the venue introduces travellers to encounters steeped in true United Arab Emirates identity.

Featuring 189 luxury accommodations, each is designed with the modern-day explorer in mind. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer sweeping city views. The rooms feature specially curated amenities, including bespoke Andaz loungewear by fashion designer, Essa Walla.

Meanwhile, elements of the metropolis are woven into the establishment’s Rayana Spa. Set on the nineteenth floor, the facility boasts stunning vistas alongside an expansive array of treatments and amenities like a suspended and whirlpool pool as well as fitness centre.

Andaz Capital Gate unites four symbols that have been celebrated by Emirati culture for generations. These include Mashrabiya, intricate wooden window adornments; Khatt, poetic Islamic calligraphy; Al Sadu, traditionally-woven fabrics; and Date Palms motifs.

“The city’s abundant history and culture is captured throughout the property, most notably in its artistic representation. Exemplified via design and art, it reflects the spirit of the United Arab Emirates,” said Stuart Deeson, GM and Area VP for Hyatt Abu Dhabi, Egypt, and Jordan.
