Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will release the latest HELLO KITTY collaboration to its family of BABY-G shock-resistant watches. This special collaboration is to commemorate the celebration of HELLO KITTY’s 50th anniversary and BABY-G’s 30th anniversary in 2024.
The new limited-edition watch features the iconic character, HELLO KITTY, on the BGD-565, a model that inherits the design of the first BABY-G model.
The watch highlights the original look of this sweet HELLO KITTY character by using the white, red, and blue colour scheme of her debut designs from 1974. It perfectly emanates a retro charm worthy of the classic HELLO KITTY design from Sanrio Co., Ltd.
In addition, 50 HELLO KITTY design details cover the entire watch to celebrate her 50th anniversary. Meanwhile, the charming HELLO KITTY faces – laughing, winking, and looking surprised- cover the bio-based band.
When the backlight is on, her eyes, nose, and whiskers appear on the watch LCD and are topped with the ribbon design on the dial to complete the HELLO KITTY face.
Also, to add an exclusive touch, this collaboration model comes in special packaging, including a cloth pouch inspired by the watch’s design.
The collaboration watch will be available online and in-store starting 17th January 2024.
