Sekkisei will open its doors at the T Galleria by DFS, Hawaii in August, which is also where its Where Brightening Begins campaign begins.

Japanese skincare giant, Sekkisei, is slated to penetrate the United States travel retail space on 1 August 2016, where it will launch exclusively at the T Galleria by DFS, Hawaii. The strategic partnership supports the latter’s goal to broaden its reach in terms of premium Asian brands.

Featuring an open-sell environment, the store provides buyers a choice of self-serve or personalised service. The marque’s ‘5-Minute Brightening Facial’ is being offered as an added bonus. Exclusive travel retail value sets will be prominently displayed as self-purchase or gifting options.

The upcoming premiere is in line with the company’s newly revamped worldwide push titled Where Brightening Begins—which supports Sekkisei’s aim to compete amongst the best on a global level. Said campaign debuts in the USA, specifically at T Galleria by DFS, Hawaii.

The release builds on the travel retailer’s strategy to provide customers with a curated assortment of the brands they love, and all in one place. According to Kazutoshi Kobayashi, CEO and President at Kosé Corporation, the move acts as a growth accelerator for the brand across new markets.
