Canadian Craft Distiller Launches Georgian Bay Vodka Smash
Georgian Bay Spirit Co., creator of the award winning Georgian Bay Gin, Georgian Bay Vodka and the widely popular Georgian Bay Gin Smash has launched its latest craft cocktail in a can, the Georgian Bay Vodka Smash in select LCBO stores.
Made with the finest ingredients including Georgian Bay Vodka which was voted Double Gold and Best Vodka at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the Vodka Smash is enhanced with natural flavours and features including refreshing notes of lemon, lime, grapefruit and mint for the perfect, not overly sweet finish.
“Last summer our Gin Smash sold out repeatedly across Ontario and we were pleasantly surprised by the reaction and the demand,” said co-founder Tim Keenleyside. “Our fans told us they wanted to see a vodka based version as well.”
“We knew we had to smash it out of the park,” added co-founder Denzil Wadds. “We’ve more than tripled our stock this summer with the full range of our spirits, including the new Vodka Smash.”
To support the company as it experiences rapid growth, former Canadian Football League (CFL) Commissioner Mark Cohon joins Tim Keenleyside and Denzil Wadds as Chairman and partner of Georgian Bay Spirit Co. Cohon is also Chairman of Toronto Global and Chairman of the JUNO Awards and in 2013 he was made Member of the Order of Ontario.
