Perry Ellis has organised a second limited-edition reissue of its original collection featuring standout unisex pieces with a nineties aesthetic.

Perry Ellis has announced the second drop of five limited releases from its archive capsule collection. According to the brand, with the 90s streetwear trend continuing to grow, it has reinterpreted its classic looks from a style-defining era to introduce updated design pieces.

Dubbed Capsule II and drawing inspiration from the original line, the fresh looks deliver a colour palette of red, black, white, and heather grey, with bold logos for impact. The range includes nylon tracksuits, washed denim, outerwear, and other modern apparel offerings.

The classic Perry Ellis tracksuit has been redefined with hues of black and white, while its rugby polo, initially offered in a faded tone of grape, has been modified using a lively red. Logos have been recoloured for a contemporary lift across a mix of heavy fleece and tees.

Next, an oversized puffer enhances the aesthetic with the inclusion of a basketball sneaker in white and navy. Also, a recognisable tweak to its Levi’s collaboration highlights an eagle image seen on a few archival designs. Finally, its classic blue denim has switched to black.

“With Capsule II, we maintained the DNA of the original pieces and took it up a notch with updates that reinforce the rich history of heritage applications and branding,” said Michael Maccari, Creative Director of Perry Ellis.
