For its third Come as You Are run, Crocs brand ambassadors, Zooey Deschanel, Natalie Dormer, and others are mixing comfort and style.
Crocs, maker of casual footwear for women, men, and children, has kick-started the third year of its Come as You Are campaign. Global ambassadors, Zooey Deschanel, and British actress, Natalie Dormer, have come on board to drive its message of comfort and style.
For the launch of the Crocs push, the brand has released a video to highlight how easy it is to be comfortable in their own shoes. The spokespersons involved with the exercise will inspire fans to mix foot support with fashion instead of having to choose between the two.
Deschanel and Dormer are joined by Chinese dancer and model, Gina Jin; South Korean actress and musician, Kim Se-Jeong; and Japanese actress and model, Suzu Hirose, for the year-long effort. Crocs collections like Swiftwater, LiteRide, Serena, and Clog are the focus.
The strategy spans digital, social media, and in-store marketing, and has a specific focus on such markets as the United States, Germany, China, Japan, and South Korea. Crocs is also on the lookout for its 2019 fan ambassador, which will be selected through a contest.
“In this third year, we are not only altering our message and cast but also the entire look and feel of Come as You Are. We are making the declaration that fans can have style and comfort no matter where life takes them,” said Terence Reilly, Crocs Chief Marketing Officer.
