Calvin Klein has signed on with The xx. The tie-up includes a special feature of the brand’s collaborators in the new I Dare You music video.

Calvin Klein has struck an alliance with The xx over its latest song, I Dare You. Through its Chief Creative Officer, Raf Simons, the fashion giant teamed up with the band as well as photographer and filmmaker, Alasdair McLellan, to develop said music video’s creative concept and direction.

Simons has long admired the trio featuring Jamie Smith, Romy Madley Croft, and Oliver Sim. Drawn to its On Hold and Say Something Loving music videos, he inked a deal to offer architectural and atmospheric support, and bring on board Calvin Klein collaborators for the trilogy’s third video.

Filmed in Los Angeles, it opens with Millie Bobby Brown, who currently appears in the Calvin Klein By Appointment campaign, and also stars Ashton Sanders from the brand’s men’s Spring 2017 underwear ad push. Another key feature in the music clip is guest of the lifestyle marque, Paris Jackson.

The production also includes models, Lulu and Ernesto Cervantes. Both appear in the brand’s campaigns and are part of the label’s Fall 2017 205W39NYC runway show. The video is now available on YouTube, and has garnered more than 638,000 views since debuting via said channel on 29 June.
