Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, John Patroulis, has announced the appointment of Adam Kahn to the position of CCO at Grey Midwest.

Grey Midwest has elevated Adam Kahn to Chief Creative Officer. In assuming the position, he steps up from the ECD role he has held since 2015. Launched in April of last year and located in Cincinnati, the agency serves as an end-to-end marketing hub for client work.

In his new capacity, he oversees all creative development, helps set and implement vision, recruits top talent, and guides creative business efforts. His background in film, television, and game development has informed his work and earned him ample industry recognition.

Kahn began his advertising career at Grey New York in 2006. He has also served in roles at Rapp and McGarry Bowen where he headed Verizon’s entertainment business, working with Lady Gaga and Beyoncé. He once built a mobile game with NASA that debuted at Cannes.

During the same year in 2015, he joined Possible in Cincinnati, which became part of Grey. Kahn has handled blue-chip accounts like Diageo, Pringles, Pepsico, Maserati, Walmart, and Mercedes-Benz. He started in the mailroom at William Morris before his stint in Hollywood.

“This is a well-deserved promotion. Adam’s leadership has helped build a contemporary brand with digital, data, and commerce at its core. His desire to make Cincinnati a creative destination continues to transform the agency,” said Tony Desjardins, MD of Grey Midwest.
