Huawei has premiered its My City in Black and White campaign. The initiative aims to inspire photo aficionados to get outdoors and capture the essence of their city. Users are encouraged to shoot their cities in a manner which captures what they feel differentiates their city from the rest.
All entries must be in monochrome so that the submissions are noise-free from colour. Entries can be uploaded across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Participants must add the hashtags #OO and #MyCityInBnW to ensure their entries are taken into consideration for the contest.
The contest runs until 13 August 2016 will be judged by Sumit Dayal, CNN‘s 2015 Indian Instagrammer of the Year. He is known for covering Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan to highlight the plight of societies, disappearing cultural traditions, and changing landscapes of South Asia.
Winners will receive nine passes for an exclusive Huawei Product launch event, along with a chance to meet Dayal himself. Huawei endeavours to offer Indian photo enthusiasts an exhilarating experience to be a part of something which will certainly elevate smartphone photography.
