Set up within a five-kilometre radius of a Coca-Cola EKOCENTRE, the Subway push aims to alleviate the shortage of clean drinking water.

Subway has partnered with Coca-Cola and World Vision Kenya to pilot an initiative championing access to safe water. The campaign, Fresh Water 4 All, aims to alleviate the global shortage of clean drinking water, and is set up within a five-kilometre radius of a Coca-Cola EKOCENTRE.

A video has launched to lead to push. Meanwhile, consumers can visit participating Subway sandwich shops to purchase Dasani water. For every bottle sold before 31 August 2016, the brand will donate 30 cents—an amount enough to supply clean water to one person each month.

Interested individuals can also donate directly to the cause via a dedicated website and participate in the conversations surrounding the effort via Twitter using the hashtag #igavecleanwater. Subway has committed to a total donation of $125,000 (approximately £95,200).

The pledge allows said non-profit movement to work with partners in Kenya to construct a solar-powered water system which supplies clean water to more than 1,600 people. World Vision is a humanitarian organisation serving children, families, and their communities worldwide.

Coca-Cola was a winner at the 2014-2015 and the 2015-2016 World Branding Awards under the Beverages – Soft Drinks (Global) category.
