Porter Novelli has chosen Nick Propper (pictured) to assume command as Global Chief Operating Officer. While he steps in as high-level strategic counsellor to the firm’s top clients, he has also been tasked with driving value, results, and business growth. He reports to Chief Executive Officer, Brad MacAfee.
Serving also as overseer of the network’s integrated client service offerings, the very function covers digital, creative, strategic planning, analytics, research and reputation management as well as the agency’s innovation efforts. He brings to the table a deep background in consumer public relations.
Propper has experience working with some of the world’s largest blue-chip brands in areas surrounding food and beverage, technology, sports, consumer goods, and health and beauty. He was previously President of Emanate, where he managed global operations, business development, and client stewardship.
Prior to taking on the aforementioned role, he was CEO at Emanate London. Before launching the brand into the United Kingdom, he was Deputy CEO at Ketchum London, and led a series of global public relations programmes for major clients. He began his career at British retailer, Marks & Spencer.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Nick to Porter Novelli. His extensive experience working with major consumer brands, stellar client engagement skills, and entrepreneurial spirit will be huge assets as we look to bring creative new solutions and programmes to our clients and drive growth across the agency,” said MacAfee.
