British Airways and American Airlines are teaming up to offer travellers new routes from London to several cities across the United States.

In tandem with American Airlines, British Airways has unveiled packages promoting travel to several iconic cities across the United States. Adding holiday inspiration to the festive season, travellers from London can choose between Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, and Philadelphia.

A partnership between the two carriers, return trips begin at £294 return per person, with up to 70 flights going from London to the United States daily. Passengers flying via both airlines across the Atlantic will enjoy complimentary drinks from the bar and over 1,000 hours of entertainment at every seat.

Said perk includes the latest movies, television programmes, music shows, and binge-worthy boxsets. British Airways is investing some £4.5 billion to enhance the customer experience with the installation of wireless and power conveniences. In addition, 128 long-haul aircraft will receive updated interiors.

American Airlines will implement experiential enhancements in the region of $3 billion. The investment covers the installation of wireless internet in every cabin for all flights operated from London Heathrow. Both brands will launch additional routes next year with a daily service to Phoenix in Arizona.

Beginning 31 March 2019, the fresh offering will be the first trans-Atlantic flight from Phoenix by American Airlines. British Airways will shortly become the only airline to deliver a direct flight from the United Kingdom to Pittsburgh. From 2 April, it will run a four-per-week service there from Heathrow.

During the same month next year, travellers will be able to explore Charleston, South Carolina as well, with the carrier introducing a two-per-week summer service from London Heathrow. The operator will be the only airline flying direct between Europe and the charming Southern American destination.

British Airways is a five-time national winner of the World Branding Awards under the Airline category, having claimed the title from 2014 right through to 2018.
