Ogilvy Japan has introduced fresh leadership locally with the hire of Jack Mickle as CEO and the elevation of Leo Shiina to COO.

Ogilvy Japan has introduced a new management line-up. Jack Mickle (pictured), an advertising veteran with a firm grasp of the business in the United States and Asia, joins the network as CEO. Prior to his appointment, he spent the past 12 years with Saatchi & Saatchi in Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Taiwan.

Bringing to the role a wealth of experience, he has been tasked with overseeing key client relationships in addition to the group’s overall growth strategy in the Japanese market. Meanwhile, Ogilvy Group Finance Director, Leo Shiina will assume the position of Chief Operating Officer.

“Jack has substantial agency experience in Japan and throughout Asia, having worked in Tokyo for a number of years serving large international and Japanese clients. We are very pleased that he has accepted this role,” said Chris Reitermann, Co-CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific.
