With the roll-out of Legends CSR Racing 2, Zynga sets some of the most iconic blockbuster cars in automotive history on the race track.

Hot on the heels of the game developer’s recent Wonka’s World of Candy debut, Zynga has launched Legends, marking its biggest feature release to date of the popular mobile drag racing game, CSR2. The new entry allows players to virtually restore, customise, and race sixteen high-performance vehicles.

An audacious display of automotive superiority, the line-up includes the McLaren F1, Lamborghini Countach, Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, and Pontiac GTO. Said iconic machines from the 1960s to the 2000s will be brought back to their former glory and placed in competition with a fleet of contemporary cars.

Other classics span fan favourites such as the Plymouth Hemi Cuda, Chevrolet Corvette (C3) ZR1, and Shelby Cobra 427 S/C. Each one will be immediately accessible to players. The CSR2 by Zynga is available for free download via the App Store for iPhone and iPad users as well as Google Play.

The ultimate goal is to unlock the McLaren F1, considered the finest supercar ever produced, by first restoring and racing fifteen different Legends cars. Enhanced mechanics and multiplayer challenges—like the Daily Legends Cups—have been developed to drive engagement and keep gamers immersed.

“Our team worked closely with our automotive manufacturing partners to select Legends cars that made their mark through quality engineering, meticulous design, and cultural cache, to transport players into the driver’s seat of these dream cars,” said Julian Widdows, Zynga Vice President of CSR2.
