Sony is rolling out brand partnerships in the United Kingdom in conjunction with News Suite, the technology giant’s news app for mobile and tablets. The recently released application has 50 million global installs across 70 countries, out of which four million are in said market.

Users consume content aggregated from thousands of publishers like The BBC, The Telegraph, The DailyMail, and The Huffington Post. News Suite is pre-installed on Xperia devices, while available for use on Android devices via Google Play, with an iOS version launching soon. Click here for download instructions.

The Sony app’s algorithm allows users to receive both breaking news under the News channel and news which is relevant to their specific areas of interest under the My Feeds channel. The above allocation creates a personal content consumption experience to enhance user engagement rates.

Brands that have advertised via the platform in other territories have shown above benchmark engagements, click-throughs, and acquisition rates.
