Featuring a vibrant display, the latest Android OS, and upgradeable storage, the Samsung device is ideal for personal entertainment.

Samsung Electronics America has launched the Galaxy Tab A 10.1”—the newest tablet in said portfolio. Featuring a vibrant display, the latest Android OS, high performance battery life, and upgradeable storage options, the smart device fills the need for personal entertainment.

The product’s Full-HD capabilities allow for watching movies or browsing online. With 13 hours of internet usage off of a single charge and advanced multitasking tools, users can run two apps side by side. Chatting, playing games, and checking emails can now occur simultaneously.

The variant comes with a microSD slot to expand its memory from 16GB up to an additional 200GB—enough to store over 160 movies as well as photos and videos. Consumers in the U.S. with a purchase at selected retailers win two tickets to Suicide Squad, being released on 5 August.

The tablet is equipped with Samsung Kids—a subscription-based safe for children aged three to eight. Available exclusively on Galaxy phones and tablets, learning service offers parents and kids a library of expertly curated and engaging educational games as well as books.

The platforms allows youngsters to experience their favourite characters, games, and content in a parental-controlled environment so that said guardians can identify specific subject areas for their child to focus on, whilst controlling the amount of time they spend on the app.

“Combining mobility with performance to deliver incredible entertainment experiences or simply the means to catch up on the latest news, the Tab A 10.1” allows you to get the most out of what you need throughout your day,” said Gary Riding, SVP, Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America.

Samsung is a winner at the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 World Branding Awards.
