The 2018 Honda Fit is now available for sale in the United States, with the new model re-imagined to offer feature-rich improvements.

Honda has begun the release of the 2018 Fit at dealerships across the United States. Sporting a versatile look, the five-door subcompact features renewed technology, an updated Sport trim, and two new exterior colours namely Helios Yellow and Orange Fury, alongside heightened fuel efficiency.

In addition to improved passenger space, affordability, sophistication, and practicality, the revamped third generation variant welcomes a more aggressive aero-form front spoiler, rear diffuser, aluminium wheels with a gloss-black finish, chrome exhaust-pipe finisher, and premium side sill garnishes.

On the inside, the vehicle delivers a black interior with orange contrast stitching. Among its multiple upgrades, the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver assistive features is now available across all of the 2018 releases, and is standard with the EX and above trims—a first for the Fit.

The suite offers adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation brake braking system with forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, and road departure mitigation with lane departure warning. Also new is a seven-inch display audio touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Driving dynamics have been updated with re-tuned suspension dampers, a better steering system, and additional body reinforcements. The Fit also boasts increased cabin quietness, improved transmission and steering system mounting hardware, acoustic-laminated glass alongside more insulation throughout.
