Ruder Finn has filled the positions of EVP, Storytelling & Media and EVP, Head of U.S. Corporate Practice with one hire and promotion.

Global creative and communications agency, Ruder Finn, has named Rachel Spielman to the role of EVP, Storytelling & Media while Keith Hughes (pictured) joins as EVP, Head of the U.S. Corporate Practice. Hughes will be based out of the New York office and will report to CEO, Kathy Bloomgarden.

He will continue to build a strong leadership position and expand the agency’s capabilities in new areas. A marketing and corporate campaign leader, he transitions from Burson-Marsteller, where he served as Managing Director, Consumer Bank Account Director/Bank of America.

He previously spent nearly a decade at MSL as SVP/Director of the North America Consumer Practice and as a senior manager for Pepsi-Cola International. With his over 30 years in the public relations industry, he has held senior leadership roles at Fleishman-Hillard, Ketchum and Marina Maher Communications.

Throughout his notable career, Hughes has worked with world-renowned blue chip clients such as P&G, Philips Electronics, PepsiCo, Kraft, Sony, Reebok, General Motors, Heineken, Coors, Fidelity, Aetna, Chase, and American Express, among many others.

Spielman has tripled the size of the corporate practice over the past 16 years. In her newly formalised position, she will work more broadly across the agency to help mine stories for client and work with teams to help bring these them to life across traditional and new mediums.
