Its purpose is to offer merchants, acquirers, and service providers elevated experiences and protect against escalating security threats

Commerce solutions provider, Verifone, has rolled out a new range of payment devices to globally redefine the expectations of point-of-sale hardware and software. Its purpose is to empower merchants, acquirers, and service providers with elevated in-store opportunities and experiences and protect against escalating security threats.

Dubbed Verifone Engage, products from the collection are scheduled for an official showcase at the Money 20/20 event taking place in Las Vegas close to the end of October. Meanwhile, the said portfolio is the company’s first fully-integrated Linux-based extension to encompass a complete repertoire of intuitive solutions.

Offering optimum physical, mobile, and online consumer interaction, Engage helps businesses create meaningful relationships to drive loyalty and revenue growth. Also, enterprise and third-party apps from the Verifone App Marketplace will offer the potential of unlimited customisation and personalisation options for merchants.

“We are leading the industry to dramatically transform the retail POS to be much more than a box that takes card-based payments. The Verifone Engage family of products is a major paradigm shift in our approach to the point of sale,” said Glen Robson, EVP, Global Head of Terminals Solutions of Verifone.

“We are leveraging the performance of our flexible architecture to bring an entirely new level of interaction between consumers and merchants. With a two-way conversation that can happen at the counter and anywhere in store, the shopping experience becomes more profitable for merchants and more rewarding for consumers.”
