Strongbow Cider Pays Homage to the Humble House Party

This new era of Strongbow Cider, for the first time, shakes off its witty black and gold pattern. This rendition doesn’t go alone, as this time the brand pays tribute to a notable British tradition – the Humble House Party.

This new advert, strongly boosted by a £20m campaign, hits your screen on June 5th. Moreover, the audience witnessed this cheery ad during the first episode of ‘Love Island.’ For the first time, Strongbow has redesigned not only its strategy but also its cider bottles’ exterior look.

Also, this ‘Take a Bow’ campaign highlights the fact that one should celebrate ‘everyday greatness.’

HEINEKEN UK Cider marketing director, Rachel Holms, said, “We are so excited to debut this advert which forms the next chapter in our Take A Bow campaign, a long-term strategy that says ‘Cheers to Everyday Greatness’ in celebration of those moments that make life great. This is a major new era for Strongbow that fuels the brand with fresh energy, color, and ambition – and what better way to kick it off than with a house party, where everyday legends turn up and show what they’re made of in a selection of bold, unique outfits.”

This Otherway-created advert integrates the soundtrack ‘This Is How We Do It’ by  Montell Jordan. The ad’s introductory scene shows a four-pack of Strongbow Dark Fruit. Whereas different scenes reveal geeky costumes for the humble house party. From a novelty Avocado costume to a fiery gingerbread man – altogether delivering a touch of fancy dress legends.

Another remarkable achievement of the Strongbow Cider campaign is its featuring in Gogglebox, a new auction show. Further, the advert also acquires a slot European League finale.
