Its Big Game global push covers TV, outdoor, digital, social media, public relations and experiential activations and runs throughout 2016

PayPal has unveiled a major brand campaign titled ‘New Money’ featuring a 45-second commercial set to air during the first quarter of Super Bowl 50. The push marks the first time the global digital commerce leader has advertised during television’s most-watched event.

The execution reflects how its offerings can make people’s lives easier by helping them move and manage money securely and more efficiently. Led by a spot dubbed There’s a New Money in Town, the advertisement highlights the aforementioned transformation in high-energy style.

Featured in the promotional video is a soundtrack spotlighting Demi Lovato’s hit song, Confident. The campaign’s commercial was developed by the brand’s global agency of record, CP+B LA, and directed by NABIL who is known for his work with many musical artistes.

“New Money is a celebration of how technology can help improve financial participation and financial health for billions of people worldwide. We want to reimagine money and enable new ways for people to securely and affordably manage, move, and spend their money,” said Dan Schulman, President and CEO of PayPal.

The spot will run across PayPal’s social channels using Twitter trivia with celebrity guest host, Erin Andrews who is FOX Sports broadcaster and co-host of Dancing with the Stars on ABC. Fans who correctly answer questions stand to win a cash prize. There will be a new question and winner each quarter.
