The industry honour was afforded her by the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communications

Marion McDonald who is Managing Director, Strategy & Effectiveness at Ogilvy Public Relations Asia Pacific, has been awarded Lifetime Fellowship. The highly-regarded industry title was afforded her by the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communications or AMEC.

The award is in recognition of significant personal contribution to raising the profile of measurement and insights across the public relations and communications landscape. The honour also rewards the inspiring of the next generation of leaders to raise the bar on effectiveness.

“In creating this Fellowship, we set out to acknowledge and celebrate pioneers who have made outstanding contributions to the industry. Marion is a worthy recipient of our AMEC Lifetime Fellowship, demonstrating world-class ability in the area of effectiveness,” said Barry Leggetter, CEO of AMEC.

The brand is the leading body for communications research, media intelligence, and insight for PR professionals. The Lifetime Fellowship was announced at AMEC’s Annual Meeting in London on 10 December 2015, where top professionals gathered to celebrate the contributions made to the industry.
