With eight gold and the platinum award for its Visit Britain campaign, the 2015 Asia-Pacific Sabre Awards has crowned the agency ‘Regional Consultancy of the Year’

Taking home eight gold and the platinum award for its Visit Britain push titled, ‘Great Chinese Names for Great Britain’, Ogilvy Public Relations won the title of Asia Pacific Consultancy of the Year at the latest installation of the Sabre Awards. Developed across its China offices, the campaign also snagged two Gold Lions at this year’s Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.

Meanwhile, the firm’s Hong Kong and China’s President, Debby Cheung, was recognised with the Outstanding Achievement Award, as commendation for 27 years of industry expertise and commitment to the Asian market. A first-generation Asian executive to practice PR in China as a strategic discipline, she is a pioneer and Ogilvy veteran.

The winners were announced at the Asia Pacific level awards event on 23 September 2015 at the Island Shangri-La Hotel, Hong Kong as top PR firms and professionals came together to celebrate the best work across the industry. The top agency won its total of nine awards under the creative and effective campaign work category.

“It has been a tremendous year for Ogilvy PR. This evening’s results are an outstanding achievement, and one that demonstrates our world-class ability in driving real business outcomes for our clients. I am extremely proud of a group of professionals who deliver work to the highest standards,” said Scott Kronick, President and CEO of Ogilvy PR Asia-Pacific.
