Jim Beam has debuted a new flavour blending vanilla bean liqueur and Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, with a push starring Mila Kunis.

Jim Beam has expanded the brand’s flavoured portfolio with the entry of a Vanilla addition. Blending Madagascar vanilla bean liqueur with Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, the new release continues the marque’s 222-year tradition and heritage of innovation.

A concoction bearing hints of oak and caramel notes, the pour is enhanced with a golden-brown colour and the aroma to match. Bartenders with early samples have suggested mixing the beverage with cola and a cherry garnish for heightened appearance and taste.

Global brand partner, Mila Kunis, will feature in social and digital content around the official campaign launch in the fall. The debut takes place on the back of the group’s 2015 Apple bourbon introduction and 15 percent sales growth over a 12-month period ended 15 July.

“We pioneered flavours in the bourbon category several years ago. We are always innovating and are proud to offer a variety of flavours in our portfolio—of which the newest is Jim Beam Vanilla,” said Fred Noe, seventh generation Master Distiller at Jim Beam.

Bottled at 70-proof, the latest product joins an existing flavoured whiskey portfolio already in market to include the alcohol giant’s Apple, Kentucky Fire, Honey, and Red Stag variants.
