Jacob’s Creek has entered into a partnership to become the Official Wine and Promotional Partner of the US Open Tennis Championships. The multi-year partnership will commence at this year’s championship, which will take place August 31 to September 13, 2015.

The world’s most awarded winery will be serving up its famous wines to tennis fans at a number of on-site locations throughout the tournament. Jacob’s Creek has a long-standing affiliation with professional tennis, particularly through the brand’s sponsorship of the Australian Open and the China Open.

In particular, Jacob’s Creek will be cheering for world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic as he takes the court at the 2015 US Open. Novak is the star of the Jacob’s Creek ‘Made By‘ film series. Viewed by over six million people, the compelling films tell the story of the people, places and passions that have made Novak the champion he is today.

“Jacob’s Creek is very proud to partner with the US Open. The sponsorship further cements our commitment to growing the Jacob’s Creek brand in the USA, and this partnership is a key strategic play to deliver this. We look forward to working with USTA in the years to come,” said Jean Christophe Coutures, Chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard Winemakers.

The partnership will provide significant on-site brand opportunities and extensive reach through the impressive viewing figures the US Open delivers each year. The full Jacob’s Creek US Open 2015 activation will be revealed in the lead up to the event.

“Given the international audience of the US Open, partnering with a brand that has a global reputation is a great fit for our world-class event. We are pleased to welcome Jacob’s Creek to the US Open,” added Lew Sherr, Chief Revenue Officer at the USTA.
