Weber Shandwick has elevated three to broader roles across Public Affairs, with Pam Jenkins named President of the global practice.
Weber Shandwick has initiated a series of promotions within its Public Affairs practice as well as Powell Tate, its public affairs unit based in Washington, DC. After over a decade as Powell Tate President, Pam Jenkins (pictured) will now assume the role of President of the Global Public Affairs practice.
She succeeds Ranny Cooper, who curtails her full-time schedule in June after 24 years with the company, but will remain a consultant with the agency and lead special projects. Jenkins will drive growth in said area, which includes overseeing Powell Tate and KRC Research, a nonpartisan opinion research and strategy firm.
She will also oversee regional offices in Baltimore and the Southwest. Meanwhile, two others have also been elevated. Paul Massey has been promoted to President of Powell Tate. A key innovator in corporate reputation, sustainability, and risk management, he will retain his Social Impact practice leadership and responsibilities.
Peter Carson, the Managing Director of Public Affairs at Powell Tate, will take on additional responsibilities as Head of Public Affairs for Weber Shandwick in North America. He joined the network in 2007 and has helped drive significant growth, particularly in health public affairs.
