Featuring its latest spot, Wiener Stampede, the roll-out marks the launch of the new campaign introducing the entire Heinz’s family

Heinz is returning to the Big Game this season with a new 30-second television commercial in tow. The comeback marks a monumental milestone for the globally-positioned ketchup giant and is the first time the brand will showcase the marque’s entire stable of offerings.

Slated to roll out on 7 February 2016 to coincide with one of the biggest events in the country’s athletics calendar, the aforementioned spot will air during the premiere of the Super Bowl 50’s third quarter across CBS. Titled Wiener Stampede, a longer format of the same advertisement is available via YouTube.

The video marks the launch of a new campaign themed ‘Meet the Ketchups’ which introduces the whole of Heinz’s family of condiments. The clip comically depicts what happens when a stampede of hotdogs is unleashed upon their favourite sausage accompaniments.

“We are launching this campaign during one of the most-viewed events of the year so everyone can see that great taste runs in the entire Heinz family,” said Michelle St. Jacques, Vice President of Marketing, Condiments and Sauces at the Kraft Heinz Company.

The push will be further elevated with a fully integrated marketing campaign to support ‘Meet the Ketchups’ and is set to include additional public relations, social media, and digital efforts. Supporting the debut, all members of the Heinz condiment family are available on the shelves of major retailers nationwide.

Building off the success of the 2015 mustard launch campaign, ‘Ketchup’s Got a New Mustard’, the ad once again features Heinz Ketchup and Heinz Yellow Mustard whilst introducing more to include Organic, Simply Heinz, Sriracha, and Heinz Ketchup in glass bottle form.

The brand tapped the same advertising agency behind the above mentioned campaign, DAVID, based in Miami to develop the new 2016 brand campaign.
