Haig Club has launched The Decanter Series, a new release designed to match the growing demand of whisky over the holidays

Haig Club, the single grain Scotch whisky created in partnership with footie icon David Beckham and British entrepreneur Simon Fuller, has rolled out The Decanter Series, a limited-edition bottle designed exclusively to match the growing demand of whisky as well as commemorate the traditions of the House of Haig.

Decked in standout blue while accompanied by a diamond-shaped stopper, the bottle distinctive square silhouette is indicative of a break from the standard shape a whisky bottle typically takes on. The concept is aimed at capturing simplicity while paying homage to the tasting glasses traditionally used by blenders of the spirit when tasting.

The one-off special edition is also inspired by the handcrafted crystal decanter which was commissioned as a gift from the brand to the English footballer in remembrance of his fortieth birthday earlier this year. The gesture was meant to be reminiscent of the House’s long-standing convention of using exquisite decanters to celebrate.

“The striking HAIG CLUB Limited Edition (in a 1 litre bottle) has been developed exclusively for travellers and released just in time for the holiday season. We know that shoppers want convenient access to exclusive and superior gifts,” said Peter Fairbrother, Global Marketing Director at Diageo GTME.

Retailing at £39, the new bottle is now available for purchase in limited quantities at duty free shops globally. The one-litre size created exclusively for travellers, is hoped will serve as an ideal gift over the upcoming festive season. Meanwhile, a 70cl version is has debuted at domestic retail outlets across Great Britain.
