The new push aims to educate families on the benefits of life insurance and highlights how nearly a third of households have no coverage

Foresters Financial Services has partnered with Love Happens to launch a life insurance awareness campaign held every February. The initiative’s aim is to educate the public on the importance of such an offering and highlights how nearly a third of American households have zero coverage.

Currently in its eighth installation, the push is being coordinated by the aforementioned non-profit foundation as part of a nationwide effort bringing together more than 100 companies and organisations. The focus of the exercise is to drive awareness surrounding the many benefits of life insurance.

Themed Insure Your Love, the campaign’s primary goal is to remind families to protect their loved ones financially by going beyond the traditional Valentine’s Day gift. Instead of the typical selection which usually entails chocolates and flowers, the message here is to show care through the offer of a selfless gift.

“We are proud to participate in this annual awareness campaign. Life Happens has done an excellent job over the years in building awareness about the benefits of life insurance as one of the best ways to safeguard a family’s financial future,” said Carol Springsteen, President of Foresters Life Insurance and Annuity Company.

“In the true spirit of this campaign, we hope that people will take the time to learn more about how life insurance can help protect them and their family. Specifically, we encourage them to speak with a Foresters Financial representative who can help choose the life insurance coverage that’s best for them.”

Foresters is a global financial services provider with over three million clients and members in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. It provides life insurance, savings, retirement, and investment solutions which help families achieve their financial goals.
