Her new commission will see her lead the charge for Ketchum Digital and navigate digital and creative solutions for the agency’s clients

Global public relations network, Ketchum, has promoted partner Debra Forman to the role president for Ketchum Digital. Previously, she served as director of the same. In the new role, she continues to report to Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Ketchum North America, Barri Rafferty.

A pioneer in the digital space, Forman has been instrumental in leading the charge for the brand as well as its clients in their digital and creative strategies. Her contributions have helped foster two-way conversations and engagement with unfettered commitment to analytics and measurement.

“Debra possesses an innate sense of fluidity to not only foresee change, but to always strive for what’s next and turn it into a business advantage. Ketchum Digital is one of the agency’s fastest-growing divisions as a result of Debra’s leadership and passion for cultivating an innovative, entrepreneurial environment,” said Rafferty.

Forman joined Ketchum in 1998, initially leading creative design, video, event production, and interactive web development services. A decade later, she established Ketchum’s Content Shop, and in 2009 launched Ketchum Digital, bringing together the agency’s existing digital capabilities.

These include digital strategy, content development, creative, social listening and analytics, social media engagement, and paid media, which previously had been embedded in various businesses throughout the organisation. In her former role, she helped expand Ketchum’s StoryWorks offering throughout its offices worldwide.

The above resulted in an agency capability that propelled Ketchum’s digital business forward while providing best-in-class client service. Prior to joining the company, Forman held art direction and creative management roles at a number of advertising agencies such as Chiat/Day, Bates USA, GSD&M, and McCann-Erickson.
