Starting production in 2016, the model is available as a coupe or convertible while coupled with either automatic or manual transmission

Callaway Cars has unveiled the Camaro SC600 set to soon debut at select Chevrolet dealerships in North America. Touted for its patented GenThree supercharger package, cooling system, and styling, the limited-edition 600+ horsepower muscle car leverages technologies developed for the SC757 Corvette Z06.

A product of prudent engineering to maximise power by minimising heat, the vehicle’s triple-element intercooler configuration provides significantly lower and better managed inlet charge air temperatures when compared with the usual single or dual-element designs.

The supercharger housing extends up through the hood, exposing it to outside ambient airflow and its benefit of convective heat transfer. The setup makes the feature visible without having to pop the hood, as heat is extracted from the engine compartment by natural flow.

“The 2016 Camaro is a superb car that’s light, nimble, and fun to drive. We designed the Callaway Camaro SC600 to deliver an even more driver-focused experience. Using TripleCooled technology, we created the most powerful Callaway Camaro available today,” said Reeves Callaway, Founder and CEO of Callaway Cars.

Available as a coupe or convertible, the variant can be purchased with either automatic or manual transmission. Its production is scheduled to begin during the first quarter of 2016. Meanwhile, pre-orders are now being accepted at authorised Callaway General Motors dealers across the region.

Founded in 1976, the company builds specialty high-performance vehicles. All Callaway cars are also fully emission-compliant. In addition, an optional five-year/60,000 mile Extended Powertrain Service Contract accompanies all 2016 models.
