The former Saatchi & Saatchi veteran steps into lead creative role, bringing with him 30 years of experience having worked on accounts like Toyota and P&G

Global full-service agency, Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide, has named industry veteran Doug Van Andel to the role of ECD. Bringing to the table 30 years of advertising and creative experience, he joins the network following stints with Saatchi & Saatchi LA and Saatchi X.

Most recently, he served as SVP and Global Executive Creative Director at Chicago-based Saatchi & Saatchi X where he led the national shopper, in-store, promotional, and digital creative activation for major clients including all of Procter & Gamble’s brands—Cover Girl, Olay, Crest, Charmin, Brawny, Pringles, Tide, Cascade, and more.

Blue Chip has landed on the Crain’s Fast Fifty list for the last five years in a row, having reported a 241% growth since 2010. In recent years, the network expanded its client roster with brands such as Ricola, Fisher Nuts, Celestial Seasonings, Enjoy Life Foods, Helen of Troy, and Merck.

“Doug’s track record of delivering transformational growth for prestigious companies like Toyota and P&G is in lockstep with our mission. His addition to Blue Chip supports our goal to be the best integrated, independent marketing agency in the country,” said Stanton Kawer, Chairman and CEO of Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide.

Outside the United States, it services clients across borders, working with more than 400 independent agencies across 106 countries as a member of thenetworkone, which is headquartered in London. With its team’s international experience and strategic partnerships, Blue Chip offers solutions surrounding consumer marketing campaigns.
