The launch of the new fragrance marks the next chapter of the brand’s partnership with the multi-platinum singing sensation
Avon has activated the next chapter of an ongoing partnership with its brand ambassador to unveil a new fragrance for women called ‘Outspoken Party! by Fergie.’ Marking the product’s debut, the singer featured at an official launch event held in New York recently.
Fans of the brand were treated to an exclusive encounter and given the opportunity to interact both with the star and fresh ‘fruity and floral’ variant. “With each scent, I am always thinking about the woman who needs no introduction. She is fearless, independent, and empowered, and thrives on empowering others,” said Fergie.
The new release is the fifth in her Outspoken line with Avon. In line with the launch, throughout the month of October, beauty giant will donate $5 (up to $1 million or approximately £646,000) to the Avon Foundation for Women with each full-size EDP purchase to help conquer breast cancer.
The brand has also introduced a new global brand statement—Beauty for a Purpose—which focuses on its commitment to empowering women worldwide through beauty and financial independence. Avon representatives will star in the exercise which entails digital, high-reach editorial, video, and social media elements.
Last week, Fergie attended Avon’s annual Tribute Reception titled The Breast Party of the Year, the platform upon which its Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign dubbed #BeABreastFriend debuted. The brand ambassador is also featured on Avon’s new blog, a resource to empower women when seeking access to quality care.
