Anheuser-Busch is set to release a new product range called Best Damn Cherry Cola. Scheduled to hit the shelves on 7 March 2016, the beverage represents the second national roll-out from Best Damn Brewing Co. A unique offering, its intense flavour is derived from bring aged in whole cherries post-brew.

Adding to its portfolio of brands, the group launched the company in December 2015 as a platform charged with bringing consumers the best damn thing they’ve had all day, with its first nationally available brew, Best Damn Root Beer. Both variants were created in the United States by skilled brew-masters.

The new drink will be available at bars, clubs, restaurants as well as grocery and liquor stores nationwide in six-packs, cans, and on draught. The launch is being supported by a media and digital campaign and an experiential activation at the SXSW Interactive Festival.

Event attendees will be among the first in the country to taste the cola-flavoured brew. Fans are encouraged to visit the official website and follow @BestDamnBrewing both on Twitter and Instagram to discover more about the brand’s beers and hard sodas.

“Best Damn Cherry Cola continues to build our portfolio of bold beers. We named our Cherry Cola mission: Put a Cherry on Tap. Our brew-masters have outdone themselves with this new one—a delicious combination of cherry, caramel, and cola notes,” said Rashmi Patel, Vice President, Share of Throat at Anheuser-Busch.
