The collaboration is set to kick-start the brand’s expansion plans as well as widen its global distribution footprint, beginning in Asia

In an effort to broaden its international distribution footprint, Agua Brands, the maker of Agua Energy Water and Agua Fruit Essence, has formed a partnership with private investor brand, Horizons Ventures. The collaboration is set to launch the former’s expansion plans, beginning in Asia.

“The brand will have a tremendous platform and international presence working as partners with a global powerhouse whose brand and technology investments have shown internationally acclaimed success,” said Michael Venuti, President of Agua Brands.

The company’s founders and former vitamin-water executives are the pioneers behind the creation of the first no-gimmick hydrating energy water beverages which promotes health through the use of low calories and a natural source of caffeine—the guarana berry.

According to the brand, the recently launched zero-calorie and electrolyte-packed Fruit Essence line features six variations and is an easy alternative to the regular eight-cups-of-water-a-day regime. The Horizons Ventures partnership will now allow for healthier beverages to be available worldwide.

Agua Brands started in 2012 with the mission to create healthier solutions within existing categories and carve space for contemporary groupings of healthy refreshments in the beverage world. The Energy Water line is available in Tea & Lemonade, Kiwi Strawberry, Fruit Punch, Orange Passion, and Pomegranate Acai.
