A welcome addition, the new W Hotels flagship property in Shanghai marks the brand’s first in said city and third in Mainland China.
W Hotels has unveiled W Shanghai – The Bund. Overlooking the Huangpu River, the property blends bold design and decadent style, creating a contrast of the city’s past and avant-garde present. Thus, the new destination delivers historic and modern influences.
Positioned between the Suzhou Creek and said waterfront, it draws upon colonial glamour and futuristic motifs, with rooms set against panoramic vistas, thanks to the edifice’s curved exterior. The hotel’s aesthetics were conceptualised by the famed G.A Design.
